International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr said that Egypt and France will sign a number of cooperation agreements during French President Francois Hollande's visit to Egypt.

Speaking on the second day of "Government Business Dialogue" Conference, organized by Al Mal GTM company, the minister said that the ministry gave priority for developing the health and education sectors in the coming period.

An international conference on education will be held soon, the minister said.

A grant worth 5 million EGP will be signed with the trade and industry and investment ministries, she added.

She also voiced the government's keenness on cooperating with civil society organizations and the private sector to develop a comprehensive socio-economic development program.

The government and the World Bank had agreed on a 400-million-dollar loan to bolster a pension welfare project and a 550-million-dollar loan to fund the country's sanitation projects, she added.

Last week, the Egyptian-Saudi Coordination Council signed an agreement to fund Egypt's needs from petroleum products for five years, she said.

She further stressed that President Abdel Fatah el Sisi's recent Asian tour focused on attracting investments in the infrastructure and sanitation projects and the administrative capital.

Egypt also won a soft loan of 100 million dollars offered by the Japanese government to finance national projects in the country, she noted.
