Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr

Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr signed two grant agreements, worth 850,000 dollars, with the vice president of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in the fields of agriculture and sanitary drainage.

Nasr, who is leading Egypt's delegation to annual meetings of the AfDB in Lusaka, said that the signing of the two agreements come in line of directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and after the approval of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.

The ministry is keen on providing all services to the most poor areas, especially in Upper Egypt, she added.

The first grant is offered by the Middle Income Countries' (MIC) Technical Assistance Fund, which is affiliated with the AfDB to provide the necessary support to increase agriculture production, she added.
