Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni

Italy has approved 1.5 million Euros in emergency aid for Palestine refugees in the Yarmouk camp, Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni said.
The grant will be in support of the UNICEF and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), according to the AL Arabya news.
The minister urged rapid intervention and creating humanitarian corridors to minimize the damages of the tragic situation in the camp.
Up to 18,000 people are living inside the devastated Yarmouk camp where food, water and medicine are scarce.
