South Korean Finance Minister Choi Kyung-hwan

South Korea's finance minister on Monday called for unified efforts to ease mounting international financial market uncertainties that pose tough challenges for emerging economies.
Speaking with counterparts from Turkey and Indonesia, as well as the secretary-general of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) at the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Istanbul, Choi Kyung-hwan pointed out that key countries were pursuing different monetary policies that are fueling volatility in the global financial market.
