The customs authorities of Cairo International Airport arrested a passenger who tried to smuggle 1.5 kgs of gold jewelry attached to his leg while coming from Turkey.

During a preliminary investigation, the passenger confessed to the smuggling attempt while the authorities concerned seized the jewelry and prepared a report against the passenger who requested reconciliation through paying due fines.
