H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has called for stronger investment ties between the UAE and Kazakhstan to harness various UAE investment opportunities in general and Ajman in particular.
He noted that the Emirate seeks to diversify its economy through cooperation with investors, businessmen and investment partnership in areas of industry, economy, health and others.
Welcoming a delegation of senior Kazakh businessmen and investors in the presence of Kazakh Ambassador to UAE, Khairat Lama Sharif, who participated at the Economic Forum, organised by the Ajman Free Trade Zone today, the Ruler of Ajman stressed the importance of investment in different sectors and upgrading the economic and investment ties between the UAE and Kazakhstan in general, and the Emirate of Ajman and Kazakhstan in particular.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ajman Ruler's Representative for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Chairman of the Ajman Free Zone and other officials.
The Ruler of Ajman underlined that promoting the investment and investment sectors "represents a priority to the UAE in general and Ajman in particular, referring to facilitations offered by the UAE to investors in the areas of investments," hoping that the UAE-Kazakhstan Business Forum would be a platform to strengthen the investment ties and open wider opportunities.
The participants exchanged views on a number of investment issues and the need for coordination and cooperation between the business communities in both countries.
For their part, the members of Kazakh delegation thanked the Ruler for hospitality and his interest in strengthening ties with them. They pledged to back the partnership and adopt initiatives that could further serve investment interests of both parties. The delegation commended the investment atmosphere and openness being experienced by the UAE, citing the-state-of-art infrastructure.
They invited the Ruler of Ajman to visit Kazakhstan. It was accepted and would be scheduled soon. The Kazakh delegation presented a memento gift, a painting that embodies the nature of life in Kazakhstan, to the Ruler of Ajman.
