Moscow - MENA
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak on Friday said that Gazprom Company will supply Egypt with one million tons of liquefied natural gas each year for five years.
The announcement came after a marked improvement in Egyptian-Russian relations.
In early August, Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) and Gazprom signed a 5-year liquefied natural gas supply deal.
Under the agreement, Gazprom is to deliver 7 LNG cargoes per year – the first of which was already received.
