Visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Wednesday with the chairwoman of Huawei, a Chinese telecom solutions provider and the world’s second-largest network equipment maker, to probe expanding the company’s investments in Egypt.
The company's chairwoman briefed Sisi on the group’s plans to increase the scope of its work on the Egyptian market, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
Huawei did not exit the Egyptian market during the past four troubling years in Egypt’s history, she told the president.
