Medicine exports by South Korean pharmaceutical firms rose more than 13 percent in 2014 from a year earlier, offsetting a tepid growth in the domestic market, data showed Friday.
Outbound shipments of locally made medicines stood at US$2.41 billion last year, up 13.5 percent from the previous year, according to the data by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).
