Thailand's exports fell for the seventh consecutive month in July to 18.22 billion U.S. dollars, a reduction of 3.56 percent year-on-year, the Commerce Ministry said Thursday.
In the first seven months of 2015, the country's exports revenue totaled 125 billion U.S. dollars, down 4.66 percent from the same period last year, figures from the ministry showed.
Meanwhile, imports stood at 17.45 billion U.S. dollars in July while the total figure for the first seven months was 120.8 billion dollars, down 12.73 percent and 8.64 percent year-on-year, respectively, according to the ministry.
The fall in imports was attributed mainly to lower fuel prices than the same period last year.
