Trade exchange between Egypt and Austria hit 330.3 million euros during the first 10 months of 2016, up from the year before that accounted for 292.7 million euros, according to a report by the Trade Representation Authority Wednesday.
Egyptian exports to Austria in 2016 are estimated at 46.7 million euros while imports reached 283.6 million euros, the report said.
Egyptian exports to Austria include vegetables, fruits, natural juices, medical and aromatic plants and spices, crude and processed fertilizers, textile, ready-to-wear clothes, marble, granite and paints and dyes.
Imports include steel, equipment, paper and paperboard, fodders as well as medical and pharmaceutical products.
There are 139 Austrian companies operating in the Egyptian market with issued capital of 73.24 million dollars.
