Trade and Industry Minister Tariq Qabil invited German businessmen Thursday to invest in Egypt in the various fields.
Egypt has great investment opportunities in the various industrial domains, Qabil added while addressing a roundtable meeting in the German capital Berlin, with International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr attending.
Car industries, fertilizers, information technology represent promising areas for economic growth and development in Egypt, putting into consideration well-trained human resources and access to the African markets as Competitive advantages, the minister said.
Also, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's recent visit to Germany had a great impact on enhancing economic cooperation, especially with signing a number of cooperation agreements in the fields of electricity and renewable energy.
For her part, Nasr lauded efforts exerted by the Egyptian-German economic cooperation committee, asserting that Cairo is looking forward to benefiting form the German experience in the various development fields.
In the meantime, she reviewed the steps taken by Egypt on the road to implement its comprehensive economic program.
Nasr highlighted that the Egyptian government adopted a program on reforming the business environment at all levels.
