Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan has said, \"Instead of using the prescription of IMF, we presented our own prescription to the IMF.\" Caglayan spoke at the \"New horizons in the Turkish economy which shows positive disintegration\" titled meeting where members of the Association of Anatolian Businessman (ASKON) attended on Friday. Caglayan reminded 2023 targets of Turkey and said, \"Today, Turkey reached this level with the partnership of public and private sector. Turkey achieved to became one of the most important economies of the world and to take advantage of the economic recession by the dint of private sector.\" \"When the economic crisis outbroke all around the world, the ones in Europe who threatened Turkey, ran to IMF. Many chairmen of NGOs said that Mr.Minister you came from us, you will understand us, there will not be any money left in IMF, be quick, we should get money from IMF too. We did talk with the IMF but we were never scared about it. We knew what we were doing,\" noted Turkey\'s economy minister. Minister stressed that instead of using the prescription of the IMF, Turkey presented its own prescription to the IMF and that they have been friends with IMF for 66 years.
