UAE-Slovakian Joint Economic Committee is set to hold its first meeting in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday and Wednesday this week under the chairmanship of Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and Vazil Hudak, Slovak Minister of Economy.
The meeting will see the participation of a large number of government agencies, ministries, institutions and representatives of the private sector and the business community of the two countries in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic, trade and investment fields.
The UAE Minister of Economy stressed that the country, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, along with Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates, is keen on building bridges of cooperation and strengthening relations with various countries of the world, especially on the economic, trade and investment levels.
In this context, Al Mansouri highlighted the country's interest in enhancing cooperation with the Slovak Republic, where the Joint Economic Committee constitute a vital platform and an effective tool to strengthen the ties of bilateral cooperation.
