The US State Department announced Friday that it will participate with a US Chamber of Commerce buissness delegation in a visit to Egypt between 9-11 November.
The Department said in a press statement that the delegation will involve more than 150 US executives representing over 60 companies and is considered "US Chamber's largest international trade delegation ever." The statement added that this demonstrates that the Chamber and its members perceive significant opportunities to invest and do business in Egypt saying that the delegation will be led by Senior Advisor to the Secretary Ambassador David Thorne, and will include representatives from the US Export-Import Bank and the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation.
The delegation will meet with senior government officials during their visit to discuss opportunities for US investment in Egypt.
