Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), a leading aluminium producer in the world, is the proud Winner of the 2014 GAC Health & Safety Award – Smelter Category.
The awarding ceremony was held on Wednesday (November 26) as part of ARABAL 2014 event, which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister.
The GAC Health & Safety (H&S) was awarded by the GAC Secretary General, Mahmood Al-Daylami and Chairman of Alba's Board of Directors, Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa to Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray.
The GAC Awards recognise excellence in health and safety performance for companies implementing best practices.
Speaking on the occasion, Alba’s CEO, Murray said:
