Qatar\'s international real estate and investment company Barwa Real Estate Group is showcasing its projects at the Cityscape Global 2012 currently on at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Barwa Real Estate Group Chairman Hitmi Ali Khalifa Al Hitmi welcomed Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and senior officials. The visitors were taken on a guided tour of the Barwa exhibition which is showcasing some of the group\'s prominent local and international projects. \"Cityscape Global 2012 provides the ideal platform for us to showcase our local and international projects, while exchanging expertise with our peers. As a strategic sponsor of the event, Barwa is showcasing a variety of presentations and models from some of the group\'s leading local and international projects. On a local level projects on display include, Barwa Commercial Avenue, a unique QR 7 Billion multi-use project, which extends over more than 8.5 kilometers; Barwa Al Sadd, a QAR 2.4 billion project that is considered one of Qatar\'s major real estate developments, the project features three office towers, a five star hotel, a commercial centre and three residential towers; Barwa Al Baraha, is considered the largest workers’ accommodation in the Gulf and is expected to accommodate 53,000 workers and employees; Barwa Al Doha - Baraya, is a mixed-use development that covers an estimated built-up area of 324,000 square meters. International projets on display are Barwa New Cairo – the group\'s largest real estate development to-date and one of the region\'s largest projects; and the Ottoman Projects, an upcoming luxury residential and hotel development located in Istanbul, Turkey. Cityscape Global 2012, which conlcudes Thursday, is a premier international real estate and development event, which attracts high level investors, developers, government representatives, architects, designers and consultants.
