Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance participated in the fourth Saudi Insurance Symposium. The event was organized by the General Insurance Committee at the King Fahad Cultural Center in Riyadh under the patronage of Ahmed Abdulkarim Alkholifey, governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA). It was attended by a number of local and international experts in the insurance sector.
Tal Nazer, CEO of Bupa Arabia, said: “We are very optimistic about the support the insurance sector will be getting from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The Vision sees the insurance sector as a catalyst for many sectors that diversify the sources of national income, thereby driving the Saudi economy forward and creating more promising career opportunities for the sons and daughters of our beloved country.”
He added: “The insurance sector has seen enormous growth in the past 15 years through the development of organized committees and regulations. There has also been an increase in awareness on the role of insurance companies and the plethora of services and products they provide for the community.”
The chief executive’s participation in the Saudi Insurance Symposium along with Ali Sheneamer, chief commercial officer of Bupa Arabia, emphasizes the contribution of Bupa Arabia to the insurance sector in cooperation with several private and governmental entities. Bupa Arabia’s efforts to elevate health insurance in the country are in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 that seeks to ensure the best health care for all members of the community.
