Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co., one of South Korea's leading builders, said Friday it has secured a US$280 million deal to expand a gas plant in Nigeria. It said the Gbaran Infill Project was ordered by Shell Petroleum Development Co. of Nigeria and calls for building facilities to transport and process natural gas from seven operational fields in the southern part of the African country.
