British no-frills airline EasyJet trimmed losses in the first half of thegroup's financial year, helped by rising sales and falling costs, it said on Tuesday.Net losses stood at £41 million ($69 million, 50 million euros) in the six months toMarch 31, compared with a loss of £47 million in the same part of its previous fiscalyear, it announced in a results statement.EasyJet added that pre-tax losses also improved to £53 million, from £61 million lasttime around.
