General Motors organized an event in Washington on Thursday to show its keenness on boosting its investments in Egypt.

Egyptian ambassador Mohamed Tawfiq attended the event.

Tawfiq hailed the company's promising plans for enhancing its investments in the country.

He said the government is working on removing all obstacles facing investors in Egypt.
