GM Korea Co., the local unit of U.S. automaker General Motors Co., said Wednesday that its Chevrolet Aveo subcompact will again be exported to Japan from this week. The shipment, scheduled for Saturday, marks the first time in two years that South Korean-made cars will reach the Japanese market after Hyundai Motor Co. pulled out in 2009 after poor sales.
