Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Political and Economic Affairs at HRH the Crown Prince's Court, Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP), today met Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company (GPIC)'s President Abdulrahman Jawahery.
During the meeting, Dr Jawahery presented a cheque for BD 100,000, marking the ninth instalment of the GPIC’s ten-year BD 1 million pledge to CPISP.
Shaikh Mohammed thanked GPIC for its continuous support and generous contributions to the Program. He added that sponsorship has had a huge impact on CPISP’s ability to develop the talents of outstanding Bahraini students by providing them with educational opportunities at top international universities.
In turn, Dr. Jawahery underscored the GPIC’s commitment to CPISP, praising the programme’s achievements and the efforts of HRH the Crown Prince in supporting young Bahrainis through educational and training programmes. GPIC president also emphasised the importance of the private sector as a force for youth empowerment, both today and into the future.
