Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), is participating in ASPIRE4SPORT Congress and Expo which kicked off at Aspire Dome earlier on November 12 and is to continue till tomorrow, Thursday. The HMC pavilion was dedicated to serve and provide contributions to the local and interal reporters and introduce such services to the society out of its commitment to render highest quality of care to the patients at all levels. A range of world-renowned experts and decision makers as speakers, are also taking part , the organizers said today. Dozens of other physiotherapists, orthopedic surgeons, doctors of sports medicine, dieticians, trainers and coaches are expected at Aspire Med – a unique and fascinating one-day conference focusing on the challenges faced by the world’s leading sports medicine and sports science professionals. Supported by Aspetar Qatar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, the conference boasts dynamic sessions on prevention, rehabilitation and innovative treatments of sports injuries will be delivered in addition to engaging case studies on athlete’s psychology, sport physiology and performance enhancement. Attendees will explore a wide range of related topics including; Sport Physiology: Discovering Why and How Specific Training Affect Performances, Maximising Sport Performance in Hot Climatic Conditions and Genetically Modified Athletes: Myth or Reality? Under the patronage of HE Abdulla Bin Khalid Al Qahtani, Minister of Health and Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Health, the conference will start with a welcoming speech by Dr. Khalifa Al Kuwari, CEO of Aspetar who will introduce a keynote address by Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari, Managing Director of Hamad Medical Corporation, representing the minister.
