South Korean textile and industrial materials maker Hyosung Corp. said Friday it will boost spandex production at its China plant, a step that will help reaffirm its position as the world's No. 1 spandex maker.
The latest plan will help the company's China facility in Guangdong Province expand production of spandex yarns by 14.3 percent to 80,000 tons per year, according to company officials.
