Hyundai Mobis Co., a South Korean auto parts maker, said Sunday it will build a factory in the Czech Republic by 2017 to make lamps for locally produced cars of Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Motors Corp.
If completed, the factory worth 120 billion won (US$117 million) will annually produce front- and rear-lamps for 750,000 cars made by Hyundai Motor's Czech factory and Kia Motor's factory in Slovakia.
