Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's largest carmaker, said Thursday it has signed a deal to supply 3,000 taxicabs to Singapore next year.
The contract with ComfortDelgro Group calls for the shipment of i40 diesel taxis to the city state. The transportation group, the largest of eight in the business, has a fleet of some 16,000 taxis, and enjoys 60 percent market share in Singapore.
