Home furnishings company IKEA North America Services of Conshohocken, Pa., is recalling 169,000 high chairs due to faulty safety strap buckles, regulators said. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the ANTILOP high chairs have restraining strap buckles that can fail, allowing a child to fall out of the chair. The ANTILOP high chairs were sold in red, blue and white. They have plastic chairs with detachable silver-colored metal legs. The high chairs included in the recall have a manufacture date between June 2007 and September 2011 from supplier number 17389. The production date and supplier number are molded into the underside of the seat. The high chairs were sold exclusively at IKEA stores nationwide from August 2006 through January 2010 for about $20. Consumers were advised to stop using the high chairs and contact IKEA to obtain a free replacement seat restraint. Consumer can call 866-966-4532 for information.
