Jeju Air Co., South Korea's largest budget carrier, said Wednesday it will increase the number of weekly flights to Hong Kong to 12, nearly doubling from the current seven, as it moves to meet rising demand. The company, owned by Aekyung Industrial Co. and uses Jeju Island as its main hub, stressed it is the only low cost carrier that allows passengers to check in baggage at city airport terminals located in downtown Seoul and Hong Kong.
