Ibrahim Juffali & Brothers, dealers of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, recently honored truckers who drove over a million kilometers using Mercedes-Benz Actros. The ceremony took place at the company’s facility in Jeddah and is in line with the company’s endeavour to strengthen its relationship with Mercedes-Benz Actros truck fleet operators, who are committed to traffic safety rules, while driving thousands of daily trips across the GCC and Saudi Arabia.
GASCO won the first prize for its truck Mercedes-Benz Actros for traveling a distance of 2,300,459-km, while Aljary for Transportation Company came second for traveling 2,060,028-km.
Khalid Aljuffali, chairman of Ibrahim Juffali & Brothers, said: “This recognition is the right of those truckers who have made a special effort during the past year using Mercedes trucks in a safe way.”
He added: “In addition to the production of highly sophisticated Mercedes trucks, the company is very keen to enhance its strategic relationship with its customers by holding various ceremonies to honor ideal truckers.”
Ibrahim Aljuffali & Brothers was the first company to set up a truck assembly plant for the production of Mercedes-Benz trucks, coaches, van and cars. It was able to do so due to the concerted efforts made by the working team and the assistance provided by its partner Mercedes-Benz. Juffali succeeded in building the National Automobile Industries (NAI) factory, which soon became one of the world’s best Mercedes-Benz trucks factories.
Juffali Industrial Products Company (JIPCO) was founded to provide sales, marketing and after-sales services for products manufactured at NAI factory, as well as imported commercial vehicles.
JIPCO markets a complete range of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, including heavy duty trucks, buses, vans and coaches. Whether it be for a construction project or for municipal usage, JIPCO can provide a vehicle ideally suited for the work in hand and made to the most exacting German quality standards.
