Kuwait's Kharafi group is planning to increase its investment in Egypt from 500 to 750 billion dollars, Egypt's Investment Minister Ashraf Salman said on Sunday.
"Kharafi Group is keen on investing in Egypt," the minister told MENA in Lebanon where he is attending an Egyptian-Lebanese business forum.
The Kharafi family, one of the most influential in the Gulf Arab region, have holdings across various sectors including construction, finance and telecoms.
