LG Electronics (LG) is introducing its InstaView Door-in-Door for consumers who seek convenience and quality in a household appliance. The refrigerator is renowned for its innovative glass panel feature that reduces cold air loss, and for its sleek, premium design.
While conventional refrigerators often sport ordinary doors with ice dispensers, LG’s InstaView Door-in-Door has impressed media and industry insiders alike with its 33-inch sleek glass panel and an array of features. In addition, the interior is illuminated when the panel is knocked on twice. This allows users to see inside without even opening the door or wasting cold air. Moreover, the Door-in-Door compartment allows users to easily store frequently accessed snacks or beverages. The refrigerator’s storage space can be accessed using the Hidden Button under the refrigerator door while also granting users a wider view of the items stored inside. By reducing cold air loss by up to 41 percent, the compartment keeps food fresh for longer.
The refrigerator also replaces conventional door handles with square pocket handles that open from the bottom of the top door, adding a modern touch to its overall appearance.
With LG’s non-plumbing water and metallic ice dispensing system, the refrigerator can easily be installed anywhere in the home. The streamlined large capacity water tank is located in the refrigerator’s main compartment, making it easy for users to place water directly in the tank. The refrigerator also employs the door-mounted Spaceplus Ice System to produce ready-to-use ice.
The inside of the InstaView Door-in-Door is equipped with Pure N Fresh3 to eliminate potentially contaminated air and unpleasant odors inside the refrigerator. Meanwhile, the Moist Balance Crisper maintains peak moisture levels while the Fresh Balancer optimizes humidity by sealing the vegetable box to keep fruits and vegetables in their optimal state of freshness with the flick of a switch.
