SK hynix Inc., a South Korean computer memory chipmaker, said Friday that it has been sued by Japanese tech firm Toshiba Corp. seeking damages over an alleged theft of technology related to flash memory chips used in smartphones and other mobile devices. "Toshiba has filed civil lawsuits (against us) with the Tokyo District Court seeking compensation for damages (related to the suspected technology leak)," SK hynix said in a regulatory filing, stopping short of giving details on the case.
