South Korea's Navy has signed a $123-million contract with a U.S. defense firm Raytheon for the purchase of nine Phalanx ship defense systems, the company said Tuesday. Under the direct commercial sale, Raytheon will deliver nine Phalanx Block 1B Close-In Weapon Systems between 2016 and 2022, it said.
