Ssangyong Motor Co., the local unit of Indian sport utility vehicle (SUV) maker Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said Friday its 2014 sales slipped 2 percent on-year amid contracting shipments to Russia and other emerging markets.
Overall cumulative sales for the carmaker last year came to 139,883 units, down from the 142,710 registered in the year before, the company said in a press release. In December alone, the firm's sales decreased 3.3 percent on-year to 12,764 units.
