A ship sailed into Alexandria port on Friday with 6,000 tons of butane gas on board, Acting Chairman of Alexandria Harbor Authority General Fathi Taha said.

The ship, coming from Algeria, was unloaded smoothly after finalizing customs' measures, he added.

The container and truck movement is increasing as a result of using new electronic systems in loading and unloading goods, he asserted.
