Chinese stocks closed higher Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index going up 0.93% to close at 3,004.28 points. 
The Shenzhen index closed 1.22% higher at 10,468.88 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was up 1.02% to close at 2,130.59 points.
