Chinese stocks closed mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.07 percent, at 2,936.04 points.
The smaller Shenzhen index closed 0.15 percent lower at 10,347.84 points. Combined turnover on the two bourses dropped to 509.038 billion yuan (77.48 billion U.S. dollars) from 527.93 billion yuan the previous trading day, according to China's news agency (Xinhua).
Stocks related to lithium battery and electric charging piles led the gains, while Internet lottery and football shares were among the biggest losers
