The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of trading on Thursday.
The market capital lost about EGP 1.3 billion to hit EGP 380.5 billion after transactions reached EGP 980.04 million, while the market's week loss amounted to EGP 3.5 billion.
The main benchmark EGX 30 index went down by 1.09 percent reaching 5,713.35 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) rose by 0.23 percent recording 344.13 points.
The overall EGX 100 index increased by a margin 0.06 percent reaching 692.03 points.
