The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes went up at the end of Wednesday's trading on the back of intensive purchases by foreign investment funds and institutions and Arab individuals.
The EGX 30 benchmark index upped by 0.72 percent to close at 8,779.52 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.02 percent to close at 495.85 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index upped 0.31 percent to reach 1,009.58 points. (MENA)
