The Finance Ministry auctioned on Monday treasury bonds at a total value of EGP 4.75 billion.
In an online statement, the ministry said it sold EGP 3 billion of 5-year and EGP 1.75 billion of 10-year treasury bonds.
A coupon of 14.049% was offered on the 5-year bonds (maturing on April 14, 2020). The yield ranged from 12.85% to 14.175%.
It also sold 10-year bonds (maturing on May 12, 2025) that had a coupon of 15.271%. The yield ranged from 14.9% to 15.398%.
The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bonds on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
