The Egyptian Exchange closed this week with losses amounting to EGP 6.4 billion.
The capital market decreased to EGP 437.6 billion against 444 billion pounds last week.
During the course of the week, the benchmark index EGX 30 went down by 1.31 percent to 7,079 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange, of which MENA received a copy.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) decreased by 5.6 percent to 387 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index decreased by 4.39 percent taking the index to 825 points.
