The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices shut Sunday's session collectively up backed by wide purchases by Arab and Egyptian investors.
The market capital gained about 2 billion pounds, hitting 525.2 billion pounds, after transactions reached about 613 million pounds.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 0.88 percent to close at 9,726.03 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.36 percent to 558.29 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index inched up by 0.46 percent to hit 1,125.36 points.
