Egypt Stock Exchange (EGX) indices rose 0.7% at the end of trading on Monday amid selective purchase of stocks of leading companies and small- and medium-sized shares.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up 0.7% to 7285,25 points.
The broader EGX 70 gained 0.25% to 391,95 points.
Also, the all-embracing EGX 100 index gained 0.49% ending at 845,95 points.
The Egyptian Stock Exchange will be off for five consecutive days over Eidul Adha starting on Wednesday till Sunday.
