Egypt’s stocks started the New Year on a positive note. Egx30, Egypt’s main stock index gained 3.2 per cent by midday. The first trading session of the year started positively. Biggest market cap Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) rose by 2.93 per cent . Other big cap Telecom Egypt gained 2.4 per cent. The boarder index EGX70 gained 2.93 per cent.
