The Egyptian Exchange closed this week with gains amounting to EGP 1.9 million.

During the course of the week, the benchmark index EGX 30 increased by 0.81 percent to 8,742 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange, of which MENA received a copy.

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) declined 1.31 percent to 469 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index retreated 0.32 percent taking the index to 469 points.
