Egyptian Exchange

The Egyptian Exchange closed this week with losses amounting to EGP 7.5 million and its indexes were collectively down.

During the course of the week, the benchmark index EGX 30 declined 0.68 percent to 8,672 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange, of which MENA received a copy.

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) declined 3.18 percent to 475 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index retreated 1.77 percent taking the index to 972 points.
