Egypt's bourse

Egypt's bourse continued its upward trend as all indices were up at the start of Thursday's trading prompted by purchase operations by Arab and foreign investors.

The capital market gained about 4.2 billion pounds to hit EGP 443.8 billion.

The benchmark index EGX 30 leapfrogged 1.83 percent to 7,360.88 points.

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased 0.37 percent to 362.49 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index followed suit with 0.62 percent taking the index up to 773.99 points
