Egyptian bourse\'s main index (EGX) increased by 1. 11 percent to two billion pounds during the week trading despite an irregular performance throughout past sessions. The bourse said in its weekly report on Friday that the main indices were fluctuant throughout the week. The main EGX 30 index showed an increase of 1. 11 to close at 5,803 points while the EGX 70 slightly declined by 0.12 percent to close the week\'s trading at 533 points. The EGX 100, meanwhile, decreased 0.4 percent to amount to 884 points while the EGX 20 rose 1.74 percent to reach 6,782 points. Value of trades reached approximately 3.4 billion pounds, volume of trading amounted to some 957 million, done in 140,000 transactions, compared to value of trade of 3.3 billion pounds, volume of operations amounted to 667,000 stocks of 128,000 operations the previous week.
