The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes went up at the close of trading on Tuesday amid purchasing operations by local and foreign institutions and investment funds.
The market capital gained EGP 7.2 billion to reach EGP 791.9 billion amid transactions that hit about EGP 623.3 million.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 1.11% to close at 14,358.64 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.39% to 690.5 points, while the broader index EGX-100 went up 0.58% to 1,761.5 points.
